The cold drink cups are coated with a film on both sides, while the hot drink cups are coated with a film on only one side. If you observe carefully, you will find that on the outer side of some paper cups filled with cold drinks, water droplets will condense. Therefore, the outer side also needs to be coated with a film. There will be no water droplets condensing on the paper cups for hot drinks. So, it only requires a single-sided film coating. It is worth mentioning that double-layered cups can be used for hot drinks, because double-layered cups have the effect of keeping the drinks warm.
